Job Summary:

This position will be to manage the SONAR Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) development efforts – ensuring development, delivery schedule, and technical requirements are met for the IETM.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide IETM inputs to various PMS4012 Messages (Monthly, Quarterly, etc.)
  • Provide IETM inputs into Engineering Change Instruction (ECI) and ILS Certification review cycles as necessary
  • Act as liaison between ILS partners and PMS4012 ILS Manager for IETM product implementation/fleet support
  • Maintain communication with NUWCDIVNPT System Engineers over required updates as necessary and continued bridged communication between Lockheed Martin ILS IETM team
  • Review Technical Manual Deficiency/Evaluation Report (TMDER) from Acoustic Material Training Representatives (AMTR)
  • Communicate with Squadrons/Shore facilities for IETM housing requirements for distance troubleshooting efforts
  • Serve as ARCI ILS IETM Government point of contact for TI18 Victoria (FMS – Canada)
  • Serve as ARCI ILS IETM Government point of contact for all U.S. Submarine Force IETM efforts
  • Maintain communication with NUWC management on work product statuses
  • Attend and participate in all required meetings (indicated below)

 Required Qualifications:

  • Currently possess or have the ability to possess an active Secret Clearance.
  • Well-versed with Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer functions
  • Customer service-oriented.
  • Analytical ability to define problems, collect data, and take recommended action based upon applicable established guidelines.
  • Effective communication, both verbal and written, with the ability to work in a team environment.
