Fleet Support Electronics Technician

Rite-Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking a Fleet Support Electronics Technician with experience in Linux to support the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Code 34 Electronic Warfare Program. The ideal candidate will work on cutting-edge electronic warfare systems, assisting with system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance. No Navy experience is necessary, but familiarity with military systems is a significant plus.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Linux-based systems and embedded devices.
• Support testing, maintenance, and repair of electronic warfare systems and equipment.
• Assist in system integration, ensuring compatibility with program requirements
• Perform routine diagnostics to identify and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Collaborate with engineers and program staff to implement system upgrades and improvements.
• Document procedures, test results, and technical issues for system records.
• Provide technical support for field operations, as needed.
• Maintain compliance with Navy and DoD security and operational standards.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electronics, or related field (or equivalent technical training)
• Proficiency in Linux-based operating systems (command-line expertise is essential)
• Understanding of electronics fundamentals, including wiring, circuit boards, and schematics.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic components and systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Additional Skills of interest (not required):

• Familiarity with electronic warfare systems and concepts.
• Active DoD secret security clearance
• Experience with embedded systems, networking, or scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Knowledge of DoD protocols and standards.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel within the U.S. 20% annually to support field operations or testing.
