Position: Program Support II

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedules, coordinates and attends project meetings including arranging WebEx meetings and telcons, prepares agendas, takes meeting minutes and records action items for various meetings.
  • Posts all documents to Department of Defense (DoD) approved web access repository sites.
  • Performs administrative and clerical tasking, including but not limited to preparation and composition of routine correspondence and presentation, filing assistance and coordination of mail or faxes.
  • Provides engineering, program mgmt., and technical support services for Navy Program to include: Planning, programming, document review, risk assessment, white paper generation and review, drafting responses to Navy/Govt inquiries, proofreads and edits official documents and Navy briefs.
  • Routes letters/charters for signature to various program offices.
  • Compiles technical and other project data using various database programs for inclusion in reports or presentation materials.
  • May serve as a resource to project managers and project leaders to educate and assist them with implementing project management process and making improvements/changes. Ensures project control systems are in place and integrates project data for decision makers.
  • Captures accurate meeting minutes and action items, maintains action tracking, and ensures timely distribution to stakeholders.
  • Answers customer and stakeholder emails, actions, and requests in a timely manner.
  •  Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail 
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks on time in support of schedules and requirements.
  • Strong written communication skills for technical documentation and process tracking.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and demonstrated capability in operating standard office equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree and six (6) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
