Senior Information Technology Specialist (CONTINGENT)

Overview: Kiakahi, LLC has a CONTINGENT opening for a Senior Information Technology Specialist to join our rapidly growing team.
 
Responsibilities (Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned) and must be able to perform the following with minimal guidance:
• System administration for Naval Ship Tracking, Reporting and Analysis Tool (NSTRAT) System, to monitor the application and/or services and troubleshoot issues affecting availability
• Software Engineering and testing to develop NSTRAT updates based on evolving DoD/DON directives (quarterly STIG updates), corrective maintenance, and enhancements
• Cybersecurity Engineering to monitor the system in accordance with Risk Management Framework
• Interact with FLANKSPEED hosting services to submit and resolve NSTRAT system trouble tickets
• Perform database entry, management, and monitors automated back-up
• Support database access for users, and distributes data to supporting/requesting commands
• Perform database query analysis
 
Qualifications - Education / Experience / Certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related discipline preferred
• 7-10 years of experience performing Information Assurance functions and using RMF IT security controls and policies preferred
• Must possess and maintain an IT-I level certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M
 
• Five years of Navy experience managing Navy computer networks
Three years of experience using Microsoft Sequel (SQL) Server Database software
• Hold and maintain certifications and/or training to maintain FLANKSPEED IL6 AZURE Privileged Access to include:
 
AZURE Administrator Associate AZ-104 Certification
• IAT Level II IAW DoD 8750 Approved Baseline Certifications
• Others as required by FLANKSPEED IL6 services
• Experience with AZURE desired
