Business Data Analyst

McLaughlin Research Corporation, a leading defense contractor, is seeking a skilled Business Data Analyst to join our team and contribute to our strategic initiatives and drive process improvements. The Business Data Analyst will analyze data, identify opportunities for improvement, and support decision-making processes to enhance our operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Create and maintain documentation, including proposal requirements..
- Conduct data analysis to support business decisions and identify trends
- Collect, clean, and process data from various sources such as databases, CRM systems, and external data feeds.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to present findings to stakeholders.
- Use tools like Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to create visual representations of data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of business analysis techniques and methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and business intelligence software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
