Deputy Project Manager & Financial Analyst
Rite-Solutions, Inc is seeking a Deputy Project Manager & Financial Analyst to support our team in Dahlgren, VA This position will be remote with occasional travel to Dahlgren, VA.
The Program
The DPM/FA will be part of a team of experts charged with providing support in the areas of cyber analysis and cyber development capabilities in response to Navy's and DoD's needs for Cyber Situational Awareness (SA), Cyber Command and Control (C2), Mission Assurance, and Homeland Defense. Program scope includes identifying cyber key terrain by analyzing operational requirements, conducting cyber analyses and assessments, and developing and performing modeling and simulation in support of different cyber threat scenarios. The team will conduct cyber analyses and assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks, determine mission and operational impacts, and make appropriate mitigation recommendations. Additionally, program support includes developing methodology and framework in support of cyber risk assessment life cycle. Our team will provide capabilities to support the customer with rapid design, development, test, deployment, maintenance and operation of specific software and hardware capabilities to meet current Cyber Defensive needs.
Deputy PM Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop a trusted relationship with the customer, acting as their main Point of Contact for budget, schedule, staffing and other needs.
- Actively participate alongside the Program Manager in customer meetings, Quarterly Program Reviews, and ad-hoc meetings to monitor and resolve issues, address risks, and facilitate government and program needs.
- Manage all contract deliverables by coordinating with team and customer to ensure on-time or early delivery of required documents.
- Act as POC for employees in their day-to-day questions and concerns, in conjunction with the Program Manager.
- Assist in the screening, interviewing, and onboarding of all new employees for Rite-Solutions.
- Work with internal and external groups potentially on multiple simultaneous projects and/or programs.
Financial Analyst Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide financial analysis and reporting including labor and ODC tracking, variance analysis, limitation of funds management, tripwire analysis, charge number set up, contract mod review, ad-hoc data analyses, and fee performance.
- Manage all subcontractor financials including run out date tracking to ensure seamless funding, reviewing invoices for accuracy and trend analysis, and working closely with subcontracts on any change requests or issues.
- Support corporate forecasting initiatives including coordinating with PM on quarterly forecast inputs, inputting into Costpoint Planning, attending FA working group meetings, and providing monthly variance analysis.
- Gain an understanding of the contract and establish close coordination with Dahlgren-based government Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
- Analyze spend rates and trends and provide corrective recommendations when required.
- Experience using earned value (EVM) metrics, complying with government reporting requirements, and implementing cost control over complex projects.
Additional Requirements/Skills:
- This position requires US Citizenship and an active security clearance
- Four (4) years relevant specialized work experience and one (1) year of experience in program management for a requirement similar in size and technical complexity of this requirement.
- Experience in managing subcontractors.
- Experience in managing Agile software development efforts
- Intermediate-to-expert level proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Ability to handle demanding situations with clarity, focus and professionalism, and respond quickly to short-suspense data calls.
- Teamwork-oriented with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Experience working with clients at all organizational levels with a high degree of professionalism and business acumen.
- Strong ability to create and edit project documents, materials, and presentations, including schedule management.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are required with a demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in DoD/Navy Projects preferred
