TPC has an immediate opening for a Process Engineer at our Phoenix, Arizona facility. The Process Engineer will play a key role in the development and troubleshooting of processes, products, and equipment.

Requirements:
- Understand and oversee existing processes and workflows.
- Monitor processes’ performance for deviations or inconsistencies.
- Document process status and changes as well as develop new processes.
- Troubleshoot problems associated with any manufacturing process.
- Improve productivity and/or product yield by designing, implementing, and testing new procedures.
- Work with vendors to assure Quantic TPC is supplied with the best products and components available.
- Evaluate new batches of critical raw materials for acceptability.
- Lead and assist in equipment set-ups and diagnosing equipment malfunctions.
- Mix and monitor process chemicals and baths.
- Ensure quality standards are being upheld.
- Perform product failure analyses and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with engineering team, operations manager, maintenance, and production employees as needed.
- Ensure compliance with ISO/AS standards and OSHA Regulations.
- Execute critical quality inspections and other critical operations as required.
Criteria for Success:
- BS degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Engineering or Science is preferred.
- 3-5 years of related Engineering experience
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must possess a collaborative team-oriented mindset and personality with a hands-on can-do attitude.
- Must be able to develop, organize and communicate clear objectives and metrics.
- Must be able to design experiments and interpret their results.
- Must be able to communicate process updates, issues, etc. effectively with operators and other team members.
- Proactive and enterprising thinker able to multitask and prioritize projects as needed to ensure quality work within project timelines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint
- General knowledge of manufacturing preferred.
- Must be knowledgeable of Environmental, Health & Safety protocols and compliance.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- General office and manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to hazards associated with manufacturing equipment and tools.
- This position requires working near electrical and mechanical equipment that could potentially interfere with pacemaker function.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Ability to use computer and sit at a desk.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 (fifty) pounds.
- Walking to various stations or areas of the production floor.
- Visual acuity for reading measurements, assembly instructions, and monitoring equipment.
- Hearing ability to detect alarms, machinery sounds, or verbal instructions in a noisy environment.
- Will be required to wear appropriate PPE as outlined by company safety protocols.
