Computing Infrastructure (CI) Engineer/Developer
Rite Solutions, Inc has an opportunity for a Computing Infrastructure (CI) Engineer/Developer. You will assist with virtualization, infrastructure management, infrastructure configuration, and automation related to Aegis and Virtualized Aegis. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to, developing scripts for automating tasks, supporting testing events with virtual infrastructure knowledge, maintaining configuration management of virtual infrastructure, assisting with third-party application integrations, and maintaining over all lab operations as part of a team. This position if full-time on-site at Dahlgren Warfare Center in Dahlgren, VA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Interfacing with users and networking team to facilitate needed connections and functionality.
- Experience with computing, networking (including Software Defined Networks), memory, and storage is critical for this position.
- Ability and desire to routinely work in a classified work environment onsite.
- Ability to receive and integrate 3rd party ACS delivered products (SLQ-32, C2P, JSAF, CEC, GWS, CIWS, etc.) Aegis Weapon System baselines (BL 9.C2.2, BL9.C2.3, and CP24).
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with Virtualization technologies and principles, specifically with the Virtual Machine Ware family of products such as ESXi, vCenter, Aria, and vSAN.
- Working knowledge/experience with automated deployment of computing infrastructures and network configurations utilizing technologies like Ansible, Powershell, Python, and Bash.
- Knowledge of Combat System functionality and Aegis tactical capabilities delivered and operational in the fleet.
- Ability to integrate and coordinate technical efforts with industry and Government team members, to include program offices and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work with others to meet established goals and program schedules.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience with Systems Engineering processes and best practices.
- Linux and Windows based operating system experience is required.
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- Minimum 5 years' related experience
