Rite-Solutions, Inc., a growing and innovative CMMI Level 3 software and systems engineering company, is seeking skilled and motivated Software Engineer candidates. This position will be located on-site at the customer location in Fairfax, VA.

The position provides an opportunity to develop and advance the cutting-edge technology that supports our nation's fundamental defense services.  Employees work closely with the government to develop solutions that allow them to carry out submarine missions. 

The selected candidate will initially be performing C++, JAVA, and JAVAScript development in a Linux environment for a critical submarine combat system. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to build and further advance General Dynamics Mission Systems software systems and applications.

Candidates must be proficient in C++, JAVA, and JAVAScript programming within a Linux environment. Candidates should also have web-services design and development experience. Candidates are preferred to also have diverse programming skills, including experience in graphical programming.

Candidates must show a passion for innovation, a sophisticated understanding of software systems and applications, and the ability to effectively manage, grow and evolve software solutions.

Qualifications (Preferred):

Working knowledge of Ozone Widget Framework (OWF) and working knowledge of AMQP and Google Protocol buffers are preferred.

This Software Engineer position requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field and zero to two years of related experience. Candidates with a master's degree may also qualify.

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
