McLaughlin Research Corporation has an immediate opening for a Software developer, Application Developer to provide support to the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Newport.
- Want to help us understand our oceans and work with a dedicated team of Government and Contractors turning data into actionable information for the Navy !
- We are seeking a Junior Engineer/Software engineer with JavaScript, TypeScript, React JavaScript, Full Stack, User Interface experience
- We are looking for a candidate with one year experience that works well in a team environment and has the ability to work with the end user to deliver custom decision-making tools
MRC is a family owned small business that has been supporting the Navy for 75 years.
The successful candidate will have experience with JavaScript, preferably ES6 (more modern JavaScript), React, Full-stack applications, C/C++. This position will involve working within a team responsible for requirements definition, design, development, documentation, testing, training, implementation and support of applications. U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a security clearance required.
Job Requirements:
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
Bachelor’s Degree and recent work-related experience
One year min Experience with JavaScript, preferably ES6 (more modern JavaScript), React, Full-stack applications, C/C++
Strong verbal and written communication skills
The individual should be goal-oriented and have a strong work ethic.
The ability to multi-task and work in a team environment is essential
Must be able to meet customer facility COVID requirements
