Rite-Solutions, a growing and innovative CMMI Level III systems/software engineering and IT company, is seeking a skilled and motivated Engineering Technician V in support of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) in Norfolk, VA.  The Engineering Technician V position detailed below is a contingent position and is for work currently being bid. Should the contract be awarded to Rite-Solutions, we will be hiring for the type of future employee listed below.

The selected candidate will be responsible for performing the following activities:

• Provide technical support for the evaluation and correction of fleet equipment/system casualties and provide for technical assistance to submarine electronics systems for submarines in the form of corrective maintenance and replacing malfunctioning or failed components. Systems include submarine ESM Surveillance electronics, radio electronics, antennas, radar/VMS systems, periscope, navigational systems, IC systems and combat systems

The selected candidate must possess the following:

• Minimum of six years full-time engineering experience in the operation, maintenance, installation, test and/or repair of submarine mechanical and or electrical and or electronic systems/equipment. Experience in evaluating the material condition of ship systems and implementing corrective action
• Minimum of eight years full-time technical experience in the design, installation, test, and/or repair of mechanical/electrical/electronic or mechanical systems/equipment
• Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance
• Appropriate level of certification IAW DoDD 8570.1M
• Previous experience with MARMC would be considered beneficial
